The coroner's concerns
1. layout of the road and surrounding hedgerows adjacent to the bus stop at Tapnell
“During the course of the evidence, it became clear that there had been other road traffic incidents along this stretch of the Middle Road, and it was a matter of concern that the layout of the road, and surrounding hedgerows, adjacent to the bus stop at Tapnell, on the Newport bound carriageway, might be affecting drivers' visibility and thereby the safety of the road itself.”
